Tervingi - Gotensaga

CD in Metal - Tin-Box - TERVINGI was founded in 2011 by Ex-LYFTHRASYR Guitarist Johann Frey. The name of the band is by no coincidence related to the tribe of Visigoths from late antiquity, who are also known as Tervingi. "GOTENSAGA", the debut album of lead songwriter Johann and his bandmates, deals with this tribal concept. Framed by hook-laden Metal placed in between Death Metal and Heavy Metal TERVINGI tells the story of the Visigoths during the time of the migration. Memorable German Lyrics, interspersed with spoken vocals in the Gothic language are just the icing on the cake in the concept of the band. Sounds based on the dynamic and powerful drumming of ex-BELPHEGOR Drummer Tomasz "Nefastus" Janiszewski are dominated by strong guitar riffs and melodic dark clean vocals. This gripping framework is refined by orchestral keyboard arrangements and melodic guitar solos.
