Battery - Martial Law

Battery is a Thrash Metal band from Denmark, and has been thrashing since 2008. The goal from the start was clear: To make raw and aggressive inspired Thrash Metal! The band was formed in February 2008 by Chris (vocals + guitar), former drummer Andreas and former guitarist Dennis. Jannick (bass) joined the band in 2009 and Jeppe (lead guitar) in 2010. After this lineup was established the band wrote the EP “Mental Pollution”; in 2011 which was released on cassette tape through Deadbangers Productions in 2012. MP the starting point for the sound they have today. It was well reviewed worldwide by critics and the band played several gigs around Denmark to promote it. After the success with the EP, Battery started to write the debut album “Armed With Rage”; in 2013 and released it through Punishment 18 Records in 2014. AWR took the reviewers by storm for its crushing sound and fast songs with a unique groove to it. After the album was recorded Chris decided to focus on vocals and Jõkull joined the band as rhythm guitarist. A year went by with gigs in their home country and abroad to promote AWR. In start 2015 Andreas decided to leave the band but agreed to record the drums for the follow up album “Martial Law”. In late 2015 Jonas joined the band as the new drummer. With the lineup complete yet again the band is as strong as ever and is ready to bring the world more fierce Thrash Metal violence!
