This latest work marks another milestone in the band’s rich and evolving journey through the landscapes of mountain-inspired black metal expression. Since their earliest full-length Samoht Nara (2014) and their breakthrough with Arpitanian Lands in 2015 — a record that firmly established their identity and expanded their presence beyond the Italian underground — Enisum have consistently pushed the boundaries of atmospheric extreme music with intelligence and depth. Following acclaimed releases including Seasons of Desolation (2017), Moth’s Illusion (2019) and their recent full-length Forgotten Mountains (2023), the band has perfected an emotive blend of raw intensity, introspective melody, and nature-infused soundscapes that resonate with both ferocity and melancholy. - With its immersive sonic palette and thoughtful compositional architecture, Autumn Embrace is one of Enisum’s most compelling statements yet, a testament to their enduring creativity and the strength of the Italian underground.
