Exence - Tabula Rasa

In 2000 everything began for Exence. Back then the band was basically Federico ‘Pule’ Puleri’s (Vision Divine) Extreme Metal project. After their promo recordings “Ferocity” (2001) and “Dynamics” (2004) the band decided to record their first real album “Hystrionic”. The album was released by Punishment 18 Records in 2008. After a short promo tour where they opened for bands like Cynic and Darkane the band decided to split on friendly terms due to musical differences. This caused a break that lasted for two years. The passion, however, did not fade away and Pule continued to write new material for a new album. He also arranged for a new line up and made the band evolve from a “Progressive Death Metal” band to a more “Thrash Metal” like sound. After months of hard work he and Richie Bleed (vocals), Riccardo Tortoli (guitar), Dario Lastrucci (bass) & Francesco ‘Breeze’ Brizzi (drums) finally found their own identity. This also enabled Exence to break the silence and to record a new album in 2011. The high quality result only increased the band’s enthusiasm and fueled the wish to bring the band’s anger up on stage and to bring out another album! Exence are back for more!
