MISSION IN BLACK have not quietly but loudly and brutally earned their place in the metal scene. The German Melodic Death Metal quintet from Baden-Württemberg has been on an unstoppable journey since 2010. Their driving sound combines metallic heaviness with epic depth – an explosive mixture of melodic death and thrash metal. In April 2026, the third studio album Divinity Of Lies (April 24, 2026) will be released, once again mixed and mastered by Sebastian “Seeb” Levermann. A special live highlight in 2026 will be the performance at the RVBang Festival in Balingen with Michael Schenker, Sonata Arctica, and Tankard. MISSION IN BLACK stands for modern melodic death metal – uncompromising, dedicated and constantly in one direction: always forward!
