If that name sounds familiar it is the solo project of legendary bassist DD Verni, better known as the bassist and a founding member of thrash metal legends OVERKILL, also of Bronx Casket Company. Much like his first solo album ‘Barricade’ in 2018, Verni wrote and produced all the songs while handling vocals, guitar, and holding down the low end. The album features Overkill bandmate Jason Bittner on drums with some famous friends such as Charlie Benante (ANTHRAX), Virus (DOPE), and Michael Romeo (SYMPHONY X) adding guitar parts. While this album bears some resemblance to ‘Barricade’, Verni lets his punk roots shine more on this album, which leads to 11 blistering tracks chock full of speed, intensity, and sing-alongs.
