gatefold LP - The highly anticipated second album from Norwegian black metal band Profane Burial and the long-awaited follow-up to 2018's "The Rosewater Park Legend" - Profane Burial presents an atmospheric, dark and grim journey through unconsecrated cinematic black metal, a subgenre of black metal that often contains atmospheric and symphonic elements and draws inspiration from film scores and other forms of orchestral music. The new album is very intense and has an even more extreme approach than the debut. It leans even further towards black metal, not only because of the high-pitched vocals, but also because of the heavy use of traditional tremolo guitars. The songs are quite intricate and progressive, both in terms of tempo and time signatures. - The line-up consists of members known for bands such as Borknagar, Funeral, Trollfest, Cadaver, Haimad, Abyssic, Images At Twilight, Khora and Omnia Moritur.
