Womack - Strays

Digifile / Womack is a heavy rock band from Forssa, Finland, who have existed since 2010. They released the first album, Prehab in 2014. About a year after that they had to go through a first and hopefully last line-up change when their former drummer Jasak Leino left the band. After that they felt that they had to strayfrom their comfort zone of groovy, loud heavy rock for a while and came up with the concept of their new album: Acoustic rock album, featuring stripped-down and remade versions of their newer, unreleased songs and a couple of old ones from the first album for old times sake. The positive feedback they received from their acoustic shows made them feel confident in the acoustic approach to their songs and during the making of this album they have fallen truly in love with the sound of acoustic guitars combined with full-on rock n´roll songs and a full set of thundering drums.
