Deceptionist - Initializing Irreversible Process

Returning to Outersound Studios, DECEPTIONIST captured ten tracks for their debut album, Initializing Irreversible Process. They utilized the talents of Stefano Franceschini on bass for the whole album, and brought in Enrico H. Di Lorenzo as guest vocalist on “Through The Veil,” both members of labelmates Hideous Divinity. To the band, death metal is the most complete genre in metal — impulsive, feral, emotional, primitive, yet calculated, logical and experimental. They pushed the realms of technicality and speed while remaining loyal to the root elements — groove, brutality and catchiness. The use of sampling blends with harsh guitar riffs, and the lyrics deal with the relationship between humans and machines in a not toodistant future world where men and women will live only to serve artificial masters.
