Garroter - Identity

Factory Sealed With OBI - Garroter was formed in 2004 in Krosno, Poland, by Doman (vocals), Yuri (guitars), Xisaq (guitars), Maki (bass) and Pompon (drums). In 2006 they recorded their first demo "Act of Twisting". A year later - after split cd was released by Eclectic Prods - they went on their first band tour to Ukraine. In the meantime, Xisaq and Pompon left the band and Fil jumped in the place of Pompon. Shortly after the tour, the recording of their debut LP "Corporal Punishment" started. On 18th February 2008 there was a car accident on the way to the studio. Tomek "Fil" Górawski died tragically. Eventually, in 2009, the album was finished and released by The Spew Records, but the band went on a hiatus for a long time. During the break, Yuri still kept creating new songs. In the meanwhile Maki joined another local band - Beheading Machine - as the second vocalist. This ultimately paved way for Garroter to rise again with new tracks and new band members. Marshall took over the vocals and Smoła sat behind drums. In the spring of 2014, in their home town, they honoured their 10th birthday by playing a come-back show. Thanks to Defense Records, same year November, new album named "Identity" was released, which opens up a whole new chapter in the band's history.
