Sarvas - The Throne Ep

3 track Digipack EP / Sarvas is a 5-piece modern Metal band mixing genres like Sludge, Groove, Stoner and Doom into a unique, raw entity of massive auditory goo that combines the crunchy,traditional sound with some more modern, technical elements. The band was formed late 2012 in Lahti, Finland; after a year of intense jamming and gigs Sarvas recorded their first album (Self-Titled) in November 2013. The debut album is soon to be followed by a concept-driven piece of music known simply as "The Throne EP". Recorded at AudioholicStudios late 2015, "The Throne EP" shows an evolved side of Sarvas, not only in more dynamic songwriting, but also in a transition away from the traditional sludge norm into a more atmospheric sound. With the new material, the band take a more experimental path towards a unique style which carries the listener through a broken mindscape, from the muddy bottoms of life, through stages of chaotic mania, towards the inevitable end.
